What is the exam qualification and syllabus followed for technical SI recruitment? Can someone please give me the complete information on the same? It would be really helpful if you can let me know the answer with details.

For Sub Inspector exam you need to apply for UPSC exam or SSC exam. Any one can do.

Eligibility for SI exam are:

Education Qualification : Graduation degree in any discipline.

Age : Should not be more than 30 years.

Exam Syllabus for SI exam includes:

- General Intelligence and Reasoning

- General Awareness

- Numerical Aptitude

- English language and Comprehension

You can refer to these following books for your preparation of SI exam:

- Logical Reasoning and Numerical Aptitude book by R.S Aagarwal

- English Language books by Wren and Martin

- Current Affair News : Read Manorma (year book) , Competition Success, The Hindu Paper.

- Follow books by NCERT class X-XII level.

- SI Recruitment exam by Arihant Publication

- SI Recruitment exam complete guide by Upakrs

Qualification Required for SI (Sub Inspector):- You must have passed graduation in any stream.
Age Limit:- Age should be 20 to 28 years for both Men and women.
Height Required:-Height should be 170 cm for male candidates and 159 for female.
You have to appear Proficiency test .
