After computer science engineering if you want to go in technical line then you can apply for IT specialists officer in Banks, Prepare for GATE because through GATE score you can apply as a Graduate engineer trainee in PSU's like Coal india limited, BHEL, Engineers india limited, ONGC etc. Otherwise you can go for Various govt. exams like BANK PO, SSC and for various examination conducted by UPSC also.
Apart from this if you want to go for private job then you have to learn programing languages like .net, php, java and you should have command on these languages so that you can get good salary packages.

Software Developers: Software developers are professionals who are concerned with facets of the software development process which involves activities such as design and coding, computer programming, project management, etc.

Hardware Engineers: These professionals do research, design, develop, test, and oversee the installation of computer hardware which inter alia includes computer chips, circuit boards, systems, modems, keyboards, and printers.

System Designer: Professionals involved in system designing, Logical & Physical Designing wherein logical designing can be enumerated as the structure & characteristics such as output, input, files, database & procedures, etc.

System Analyst: Computer engineers who work as systems analyst do research about the existing problems and plan solutions for the problem. They also recommend software and system related problems and coordinate development between business development teams.

Networking Engineers: Networking engineers are computer professionals involved in designing, implementation, and troubleshooting of computer networks.

DBA: DBA or Database Administrator are the professionals who are bestowed with the job to design, implement, maintain, and repair an organization's database. Inter alia DBA professionals are also known as Database Coordinator or Database Programmer in IT sector.

Hi buddy, if you are interested in CS then just go ahead you dont have to worry at all about the scope and career prospects of Computer science engineering. Computer engineers though are mostly involved in IT industries, they are gaining more demand in other industries like
bank, airlines, public utilities, manufacturing sector etc., as these industry are becoming more technology oriented and computerized. Moreover, good universities like UTM are coming up more specialized courses in CS streams like B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering with specialization in Cloud Computing & Virtualization Technology and B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering with specialization in Oil & Gas Informatics which open multiple opportunities in Oil and gas sector and various aspects of cloud.
