I have finished my B.E in 2011 and presently working in a MNC. please suggest me what all the government jobs i can go for and the reference books for the respective jobs to be prepared for the exams for those exams.

It is a good decision to go in for a government job after B.E as there are immense job opportunities. You can try for technical jobs in government departments like Railways through attending RRB exams. If you are interested you can apply for jobs in defense services. CDS is the qualifying exam to join defense services. Also, try for job opportunities in public sector companies like SAIL, BHEL, ONGC, IOCL etc. Another job option will be PO/ Specialist officer position in nationalized banks. For all the above mentioned jobs there will be aptitude oriented questions as well as technical/subject based questions. You can refer books written by RS Agarwal, Jain Publications, Arihant Publications, etc.
