Re: What is the last date to register for CPT exam?
Hi friend...
CPT stands for Common Proficiency Test. It is an entrance test for CA course and conducted twice in a year. You can give this exam after your appearing in your 12th boards. Well, its syllabus consists four subjects:- 1.Accountancy. 2.General Economics. 3.Merchantile Law. 4.Maths. The exam is of 200 marks and conducted in two sessions of 2 hrs each. The passing criteria in CPT is to score 100 marks. If you want to appear in CPT,you will have to register yourself with ICAI. You can register just after passing your 10th exam. The registration fee is around Rs.6,000/-. However, the last date for CPT 2013 exams are:- 1.For June 2013 CPT-1st April,2013. 2.For December 2013 CPT-1st October,2013. After you register with ICAI,they will send you books covering CPT syllabus along with 2 sample papers. After registering for CPT,you will also have to fill an examination form for CPT which is available in ICAI centres before 1 and half months. The syllabus of CPT mostly consists of 11th and 12th Commerce syllabus,so prepare well for it. Best of luck. Thanks. |
