NDA exam :-

You need to have a 12th standard any discipline from a recognized university.
Your age should be between 16.5 and 19 years.

Indian Military Academy:-

You need to have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
Your age should be between 19 and 23 years.


Air Force Academy:-

You need to get a B.Sc degree with physics or mathematics or a bachelor's degree in engineering/technology.
Your age should be between 19 and 23 years.


Naval Academy:-

You need to have a B.E./B.Tech degree in engineering or technology or a bachelor's degree in science with physics or mathematics.
Your age should vary between 19 and 22 years.


Officer's Training Academy:-

You need to complete your graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.
Your age should be between 19 and 25 years.

The process to join India Navy is clearing the entrance exam of NDA which is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) or through CDS(Combined Defence Services)

Eligibility criteria for the NDA entrance exams are listed as below--->>>

Age requirements are-->>

Military Academy :: minimum 19 years and maximum 24 years.
Air Force Academy :: minimum 19 years and maximum 23 years.
Naval Academy :: minimum 19 years and maximum 22 years.
Officer Training Academy :: minimum 19 years and maximum 25 years.

The maximum age limit to appear for the different academies and entrance exam is different.

Here is the upper age limits for different exams to enter into Indian Army:

1. National Defense Academy:

Age limit is 16.5-19.5 years.

2. Air Force Academy:

It is from 19-22 years.

3. Naval Academy:

It is from 19-23 years.

4. Indian Military Academy:

Age limit is from 19-24 years.

5. Technical Entry Scheme:

Age limit is from 17-21 years.

# Through National Defence Academy (NDA) Examination

# Through Open Recruitment Rallies conducted by Indian Army from time to time

* Minimum age: 19 years
* Maximum age: 21 years (for GD and Clerical posts) and 23 years (for tradesmen posts)

# Through Combined Defence Service (CDS) Examination

* Indian Military Academy (IMA): 19-24 years
* Officer Training Academy (OTA): 19-25 years

# Through Technical Entry Scheme (TES)

* Minimum age: 19 years
* Maximum age: 28 years

One can join Indian Army by appearing in either exam conducted by UPSC;
