Age limit for PCS J exam is :

Age of general candidate must be from 21 to 30 years.
Relaxation is also provided as per government norms to reserved categories.

Relaxation in upper age limit is as follows :

For OBC candidate : 3 years
For SC/ST candidate : 5 years
For Ex-service men : 10 years
For Physically Handicapped : 10 years

PCS J or Judicial Service Recruitment is one the most popular exam in state of uttar pradesh for those Law graduate candidate who want to make there career in judicial services. UPPSC Uttar pradesh public service commission conduct the exam for UP Judicial Service Civil Judge junior division.

Notification will be release at the end of march or 1st week of April 2015 in employment news/rozgar samchar as well as on official website also.

To apply for PCS J exam candidate must have Bachelor of Laws or must be an Advocate enrolled. Must possess thorough Knowledge of Hindi in Devnagri Script.

Age of candidate for PCS J exam is, minimum 22 year and maximum 35 year.

Selection will be based on through the preliminary written exam , Mains written exam,personality test and interview test.

Required Age Limit for PCSJ Exam

Well the good news for all the aspirants is that the government has decided to add 2 additional attempts for all the candidates with effects from the current year in the Civil Services Examination. Previously, a candidate in general category is allowed a maximum of 4 attempts, if they are between the age of 21 and 30. Candidates belonging to SC/ST categories have no limit and they are eligible to appear for the exam till the age of 35 years. Candidates with OBC category get 7 attempts.

Recently, civil service aspirants had demanded 3 extra attempts and a relaxation of 3 years in the age limit. Civil service candidates who get just 4 attempts will now get 6 attempts. OBC candidates who get 7 attempts, can now take the exam for 9 times. There is no limit for SC/ST candidates.

Thus, the total number of attempts permitted for the exam has been increased from 4 to 6 and the maximum age limit has also increased from 30 to 32. Same number of attempts and age limit is applicable to both the genders.
