MCA stands for Masters in Computer Application. The duration of this course is three years so it comprises of six semesters in total. This is for those interested candidates who wants to get a degree in computer science. In this course the emphasis is given more on latest programming language and tools to develop better and faster applications.

If you want to do MCA then you need to have completed graduation to pursue this course. The degree can be obtained from a recognized university and the final year students too are eligible to give this exam. It is important to have mathematics as a subject at 10+2 level or graduation level.
