The minimum qualification required to apply for Bank jobs is completion of Bachelor's degree course or equivalent in any discipline from a recognised university. You should be at least 21 years old and not more than 32 years of age. Upper age relaxation is applicable to reserved category candidates as per government rules. You can apply for bank jobs through IBPS official website once, the notification for bank jobs has been issued by the respective banks.

The minimum qualification for bank job exams is 10th class. They can apply for clerical positions in banks. But candidates need to obtain 60% marks in 10th class.
Those candidates who have completed their 12th class from a recognised Institute can also apply for clerical positions. A minimum marks required in this case is 50%. Age of candidates who apply for clerical post needs to be between 18 to 28 years. Graduates can apply for PO position in banks. Maximum age limit for PO post is 30 years. procedure to apply for a bank job:- If you want job in SBI or any other public sector bank then you will have to appear for the written test. If you have two options. Either apply for the entrance exam by State Bank of India or you can appear for the entrance exam by Institute of banking personnel services which is accepted by 19 public sector banks. There are two entrance exams for both side Bank Clerk Bank PO. If you have completed graduation then in my option you should apply for the bank PO exam of either SBI or IBPS. SBI Bank PO Eligibility:- Graduation degree is needed Minimum of 65% marks in graduation The age limit is 21 to 30 years IBPS Bank PO Eligibility:- Qualification: BA, B.Com, B.Sc or any other graduation degree Percentage- No criteria Age limit is between 21 years to 30 years. |

At present in Nationalised Banks most of job offerings are thre types.
1. Clerical Cadre 2. Probationery Officers 3. Specialized Officers 1. Clerical Cadre - Requires minimum qualification of Intermediate. Positions at Bank will be Cashier, Clearing, Other teller works. 2. Probationery Officers - Requires minimum qualification of Graduation. B. Tech also considered as a graduation. Positions at Bank will be Cash Officer, Clearing Officer, Manager for small branches/newly-opened branches etc., 3. Specialized Officers - Required minimum qualification of Graduation and Work experience of 2 to 4 years in any banks or finance organisations. Positions at Bank will be Wealth Management Officer, Relationship Manager, Credit Manager etc. |

First thing I would like to let you know that the most primary option available for any one in the banking sector is the option of bank clerk and bank probationary. Further for getting these job in any nationalized banks of India you are required to qualify bank examinations like IBPS bank examination and SBI bank examination.
--> The minimum eligibility criteria required for appearing in above mentioned bank examinations are as here under :- * You must have the nationality of India. * Your age must lie within 20 years to 28 years for the post of bank clerk and 21 years to 30 years for the post of bank probationary officer. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates as per the government norms. * You must have completed your graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Students pursuing final year of same degree are also eligible. * You must hold good communication skills along with a certificate / degree in computer operations or language from a recognized institute.
