am pursuing b.tech from electronics and communication...i want to get into a core company just like bsnl.so what preparations i need to take so that i can establish myself in your company...please help

To get into a core company like BSNL then you need to plan well.the pattern for the exam is as provided below:-
Section-I :Engineering stream : Consisting of 50 questions
Section-II:Engineering stream :Consisting of 50 questions
Section-III:General Ability Test :Consisting of 20 questions

The syllabus varies because JTO exam is divided into Telecom,electrical and Civil.Hence the syllabus is well split up.I have attached the syllabus below hence please go through it.This examination consist of all subjects which you prepare for the GATE examination.The questions asked for the exam are not tough but the options provided for the question are of course tricky.It seems like you can answer all the bits but the options provided for the question confuses us more than the question itself.

You can refer previous year question papers along with books containing study materials and model test papers.

you have to maintain your percentage thats all................like 60% is enough for to qualify for the core companies............

see, the main preparations which are needed get in core companies jobs like BSNL is

1.concept of subjects.

2.patience.

3.regular basic practice of previous year paper.

4.good quality study material.

etc.

You have completed your B.tech and now you want to get job in core companies like BSNL for this you have to give a paper held by that company and after clearing that there is an interview and by clearing that you can get job in that company.
For this you have to pay heed on your syallabus and your B.tech books.
