Re: What is the procedure of CA after B.Com?
The Chartered Accountant course consists of 3 stages.
1. Common Proficiency Test (CPT) 2. Integrated Professional Competancy Test (IPPC) 3. Final Course Eligiblity of CPT Any student who has passed Class 10 from a recognised board in India is eligible for CPT. 10+2 students from recognised board are also welcomed to apply The CPT exam of 200 marks has four sections. You need to secure at least 100 marks to qualify the examination. The four sections are: 1. Fundamentals of Accountancy 2, Economics 3. Mercantile Law 4. Quantitative Aptitude Second Stage is Integrated Professional Competancy Test (IPPC). Recently ICAI has made some changes to allow students with higher marks to skip CPT and directly go for IPPC. To do so you need to meet the following criteria. B.Com degree with at least 55 per cent marks Non B.Com degree holders need to secure at least 60 per cent marks for exemption. IPPC has total of seven papers divided in two groups that you are require to pass: Group 1 1. Accounting 2. Business Laws,Ethics and Communication 3. Cost Accounting and Financial Management 4. Taxation Group 2 5. Advanced Accounting 6. Auditing and Assurance 7. Information Technology and Strategic Management Third and final stage consists two groups and considerd toughest of all three stages of CA. Group 1 1. Financial Reporting 2. Strategic Financial Management 3. Advanced Auditing and Professional Ethics 4. Corporate and Allied Laws Group 2 5. Advanced Management Accounting 6. Information System control and Audit 7. Direct Tax Laws 8. indirect tax Laws |

Re: What is the procedure of CA after B.Com?
CA stands for Chartered Accountant.
CA course consists of 2 stages :- CPT and IPCC. CPT stands for Common Proficiency Test. To appear for CPT you need to have completed you 12th. After clearing CPT only you can appear for IPCC. IPCC is the second stage of CA course. With our clearing CPT you can not appear for IPCC. But there was a change in this procedure by the Government. The change is that with out qualifying CPT you can appear for IPCC , but you need to have completed Graduation. You need to have minimum of 60% in graduation for appear for IPCC directly and if your from Commerce Background you need to have 55%. So as you have completed your B.com graduation your eligible to appear for IPCC directly with out CPT but see that your percentage satisfy`s the mentioned criteria. THERE IS NO AGE LIMIT FOR CA COURSE |

Re: What is the procedure of CA after B.Com?
Hi friend...
CA course is managed and conducted by ICAI in three stages:- 1.Common Proficiency Test. 2.IPCC. 3.Finals. You can apppear in CPT after passing 12th. Since, you have completed your graduation from Commerce Stream, you are not required to give CPT and can directly join IPCC if:- 1.You have got at least 55% in your graduation. 2.A non-commerce student can directly join IPCC stage if he has secured at least 60% in his graduation. So,the first step for you should be to register yourself with ICAI. After 9 months completion of registration, you can appear in IPCC exams. The exams are conducted in two stages:- 1.Group 1 - There are four subjects in this group. 2.Group 2 - There are three subjects in this course. You can appear in both the groups at one attempt or you can appear in Group 1 first and after that Group 2. After qualifying both the groups or just Group 1,you will have to undergo a training period of 3 years under a registered CA. After completion of your Articleship and qualifying both the groups of IPCC,you can appear in CA finals. After passing final exam, you will finally become a CA. Best of luck. Thanks. With Regards- Vikas. |

Re: What is the procedure of CA after B.Com?
hi,
To be a complete CA you have to clear three level of exams ,i.e, 1) CPT 2) PCC 3) FINAL EXAM All these exams are necessary and you'll also have to get a training under the guidance of a C.A firm. The Institute conducts its examinations in May and November each year and has exam centers in major cities/regions in India |

Re: What is the procedure of CA after B.Com?
Hello friend
If you aspire for CA you should have minimum 55% marks in B.com. Thereafter you should register with ICAI for IPCC. Before writing exam you must undergo nine months Articleship training under a Chartered Accountant. But for training you must have attended ITT ie Information Technology Training and Orientation course in ICAI branches. These certificates are necessary for training. After nine months of training you can write IPCC exam. Do well. Try your best. |

Re: What is the procedure of CA after B.Com?
Hello friend
Actually the duration depends on how you pass the exams. The number of attempts you take the more it becomes. Generally IPCC takes 1 year then 3 years of articleship training Thereafter if required after 1 years study you can write final. As a total it includes 5 years. Do well. |
