I am atul kumar sahu of mechanical engineer , I wanted to summer training in ntpc dadri and btech going to complete my 5th sem. Am I eligible to apply for the training? What would be the inputs required to apply for the summer training? Can someone provide me the complete details?

For summer training you need to follow some simple procedures like
1. You need to decide which industry are you interested in
2. Ask an application from your college for training
3. A no objection certificate
4. Than you can apply in any industry
As you have chosen NTPC so first step is to find good acquaintance over there as it makes your work too much easy.
Than just try to get noc from college
They can take fee or not it depends on your application.

The complete details regarding the internship in NTPC is being provided below-
Educational qualification:-
# You must be pursuing BE/ BTECH (Mechanical/ Chemical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Control and Instrumentation/ Power Engineering) from a recognized university.

So, based on the qualification above, you can very well apply for the training. Now here is the procedure of how to do it.
You have to submit the following documents :
-- Cover letter with your interest in the summer training your previous project work (if any).
-- C.V. in the proper format stating your all the qualification.

You have to submit these document to the mailing address of the respective department of summer training.

Since you are from the mechanical branch so there won't be any problem regarding selecting your candidature.
Also, if you have some contact like a relative or a person known then it would become easier because then the formalities would be less.
Otherwise also, organisations like NTPC offer training courses to engineers quite easily.
