what is process of Selection in CBI.?

CBI( Central Bureau of Investigation)

This examinations is conducted by the SSC i.e staff selection commission every year .
This examination is also called Combined Graduate Preliminary Exam i.e CGPE.

This examination is conducted for following posts in CBI ::

Sub-Inspector
Assistant Public Prosecutor
Senior Public Prosecutor (SPP).



ELIGIBILITY ::

Your age must be between 20 years to 27 years for general category .There is some relaxation given to reserved caste students in upper age limit .

For SC/ST the upper age limit is 32 years which means there are 5 year relaxation given
For OBC : the upper age limit is 30 years which means there are 3 year relaxation given

Qualification Required for CBI:
1.Should be Citizen of India.
2.Should have completed Graduation from Any Stream
3.Should have 60% marks in Graduation from Discipline University.
4.Age Should be between 21-30 Years.
Structure of the examination ::

Written test
Interview
Medical Test.

The questions are asked generally from the following topics

General Intelligence Reasoning
General Awareness
Numerical Aptitude
English Comprehension

Yes, you are eligible for CBI after completing your graduation in commerce.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

• Candidate should be an Indian.
• Candidate age should be Between 18 to 27 years.Age relaxation for SC/ST and OBC candidates.
• Candidates should be graduated from recognized university.

PHYSICAL ELIGIBILITY:

• For men the height should be 165cm.
• For women Height should be 150 cm.
• Eye sight should be distance vision-6/6 in one and 6/9 in other eye near vision 0.6 in one eye and 0.8 in other eye.

To get job in CBI you have to write an exam conducted by SSC,every year this exam will be conducted.

To become a CBI you have to go through Entrance exam.

Eligibility criteria;-
Age-Candidates age should be between 20 years to maximum 27 years
Educational qualification-.Candidates must have bachelor degree from any recognized university.There are relaxation for Reserved category.

•There are five tests are held in Entrance exam;-
1.General studies.
2.Maths
3.English
4.Language
5.communication skill and writing.

But you have to undergo a long process as you have to write CSE(Civils Examination)in the integrated services of the CSE or there is one more method that is SSC(Staff Selection Committee exam) with this exam too

The Eligibility regarding age is 21-27 years

To get jobs in some of the important post of bureau

you should complete your graduation in criminology field

your degree must be from a recognized Indian University.

you can enter into CBI as Inspector but the high level jobs are obtained by IPS \officers only

SSC is also not a simple exam it also consists of 4 stages you have to clear all of them

Then only you will get placed in CBI department

Some times the candidates with LAW background also gets a chance to enter in to CBI Department.
