There is No Percentage is Required to apply for CSAT Examination. Civil Services Examination is conducted every year by the Union Public Service Commission for recruitment to various services like the Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service and Indian Police Service, as well as Group A and Group B Central Services. You must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years, The upper age limit will be relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates, by 3 years for candidates of OBC. The examination is Conducted in 2 stages, Preliminary Examination and Main examination. Firstly you have to cracked the Preliminary examination and there are 2 papers in this examination and both are of same marks and Duration, If you cracked the Preliminary examination, only then you are eligible for Main examination. In Main examination there are 9 papers and you have to choose the subjects in main examination on the basis of Graduation, the Question Papers III to IX will be set both in Hindi and English. For this year CSAT Examination Notification will be Published on 04/Feb/2012. The last date of apply for this examination 05/March/2012 Preliminary examination Date : 20/May/2012. Civil service aptitude test is conducted by Union Public Service Commission every year.
ELIGIBILITY:- -- You must be an Indian citizen. -- You must be physically fit for applying in the examination. AGE LIMIT:- -- Your age should not be less than 21 years & not exceed 30 years. -- But for SC,ST, O.B.C. category upper age limit relaxation is available. -- For SC/ST- 5 years of age relaxation. i.e. age limit 21-35 years. -- For O.B.C- 3 years of age relaxation. i.e. age limit 21-33 years. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:- -- You must have completed your graduation from recognized university. -- Candidates passed their graduation from Technical/Professional courses are also eligible to apply. -- Final year candidates can also apply. -- There is nothing about minimum percentage. -- Only passing mark is enough to appear the exam. NUMBER OF ATTEMPTS:- -- For open category candidates 4 attempts, for O.B.C 7 attempts & unlimited attempts for SC/ST candidates are available.
