Re: What is the qualification required to attend banking exam
I wonder why do you want Banking job? You are doing Electronics and Communication Engineering and there would be plenty of the jobs related to your course that would be available for you.
These jobs would be far better paying jobs. Why dont you try for these jobs. What is the point of applying for the banking job? I think you should seriously reconsider on the banking job. There are better ideas for you. Anyway if you really want banking job here is what you need to know. Firstly the best option perhaps would be IBPS Bank PO Exam for you. Although you can also apply for the IBPS Clerk but I will not recommend that you. IBPS stands for the Institute of Banking Personnel Services. This institute conducts the Bank PO exam once a year in June. The application process starts at least a month in advance. You can visit the www.ibps.in for official notification after which the exam is conducted. The official notification is published at least couple of months in advance. It includes all the information related to applying for the exam. IBPS Bank PO Eligibility 1. You should be of Indian origin. 2. A bachelor degree in any discipline. 3. There is no percentage criteria. 4. The age limit is 20 to 30 years. 5. There is 3 years relaxation for OBC. 6. SC/ST candidates are given 5 years relaxation. 7. PWD candidates gets 10 years relaxation in upper age limit. Exam Pattern 1. Reasoning: 50 questions of 50 marks 2. English Language: 50 questions of 25 marks 3. Quantitative Aptitude: 50 questions of 50 marks 4. General Awareness (with special reference to Banking Industry): 50 questions of 50 marks 5. Computer Knowledge: 50 questions of 50 marks 6. Descriptive Paper on English Composition (Essay, Précis, Letter writing, etc.): 25 marks Although I would still not recommend banking exam to you. Instead you should apply for the Indian Engineering Service Exam. This exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission for various jobs in central government departments. You need to finish b.tech to apply for it. |
