Graduates are eligible to apply for the position of IAS officer. In order to get in to this post, candidates should pass CSAT exam, mains exam and interview. Age of the candidate must be less than 30 years. Indian citizenship is also necessary to apply to the position. Detailed information can be collected from UPSC web portal.

IAS is a one of the Civil Service Examination conducted by Union Public Service Commission IAS Eligibility : Candidates must be Indian Candidates should have to complete Graduation in any stream from a recognized university Candidates min of age limit 21 years & max of age limit 30 years The upper age relaxation as per govt rules 3 years age relaxation for OBC Candidates 5 years age relaxation for SC/ST Candidates Number of Attempts : Four times for OC Candidates Seven times for OBC Candidates No limit for SC/ST Candidates Selection Process : Preliminary Examination Main Examination Interview |

If you are interested in IAS Service First you must and should crack the Civil Examination Civil Examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission Eligibility Criteria for Civil Examination -> Candidates must have a bachelor of degree in any stream from any recognized university -> There is no percentage required for this examination -> Final year appeared students also eligible for this examination -> Candidates age should between 21 years to 30 years for general candidates 5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates 3 years relaxation for OBC Candidates 10 years relaxation for PHC candidates 5 years relaxation for Ex-serviceman -> Candidates should be a citizen of India Selection Procedure ** Preliminary Examination ** Mains Examination ** Interview Test No.of Attempts maximum 4 for general candidates 7 for OBC Candidates No limit for SC/ST candidates all the best........ hi,
ias stands for indian administrative service which service to the public ias ,the exam is conducted by the upsc exam board under the control of the central government the qualification required is should pass the graduation degree in any branch ,and should have minimum70%in the degree ,in named university their is an age cerita for the ias exam 5 years for the sc/st candidates 3 years for the obc candidates 10 years for physically handicapped student |

IAS - Indian Administrative Services UPSC conducts IAS exam. This exam is known as CSAT - Civil Services Aptitude Test. Eligibility Criteria for CSAT - Nationality- Indian Qualification- Graduation from a recognised university. Age - Not below 21 years, not above 30 years. Graduates from any stream can appear for IAS exam,
Those who are in final year of Graduation and are expecting there result before the date mentioned in the notification are also eligible to apply provided they produce the required documents when they are asked. Age for IAS exam should be between 21 to 30 years if you are general category candidate. There is age relaxation available for other categories like SC/ST , OBC, PWD, Ex servicemen.
