What is the qualification for RTO entrance exam?
means i m studying diploma in mecanical engineering(third year),plz tell me that i m applicable for this exam????

RTO stands for Road Transport Officer. It is mainly for the following posts: Judicial post Assistant engineer post Clerk post Eligibility for different posts are different such as: For Judicial posts: Graduation in law i.e.LLB Age should be in between 21 to 32 years. For assistant engineer post: B.Tech or B.E in any stream. Age should be in between 21 to 30 years. For clerk post: 12th passed with minimum 60% marks. Age should be in between 21 to 34 years. |

Regional Transport Officer(RTO)Recruitment entrance exam is conducted by the public service commission of the states.
RTO Inspector- Aspirant should have completed Mechanical Engineering/ Diploma in Automobile from a recognized university. Age must be in between 18 years to 35 years of age. RTO Clerk Post- To become clerk you should be passed the 10th passed with at least 55% marks and age must be between the 18 to 30 years. Judicial Post- For judicial post, you should be passed the bachelor degree in LAW with at least 55% marks from any recognized university and age must be between the 21 to 30 years. Assistant Engineer Post- For Assistant engineer, you should have a bachelor degree in engineering with at least 55% marks from any recognized university and age must be between the 21 to 30 years. Selection Process on the basis of written test and interview. |

RTO stands for Regional Transport Officer.
The recruitment for the post of RTO is recruited by the State Public Service Commission. The different posts in RTO are following:- *Clerk *Sub Assistant *Judicial RTO Clerk Eligibility : Candidates must be Indian Candidates must have completed Graduation from a recognized University. Candidates age limit should be in between 18 to 37 years. RTO Sub Assistant Eligibility : Candidates must be Indian Candidates must have completed Graduation from a recognized University. Candidates age limit should be in between 18 to 34 years. RTO Engineering Eligibility : Candidates must be Indian. Candidates must have completed Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical ). Candidates age limit should be in between 18 to 32 years. The Exam is conducted in the different stages : Preliminary Examination. Main Examination. Interview. |

Sorry, but diploma candidates can not apply for the entrance exam conducted by Ministry of Road and Transportation for the Road Transport officer. For 10+2 candidates, clerical posts are available under RTO, you should have minimum of 60 % marks in 10+2. Age limit is 21-34 years. If you have done bachelor's degree in engineering or technology, you can apply for the post of Assistant Engineer and the age limit for candidates is 21-30 years. |

RTO means Road Transport Officer.it is a very high level post in India.RTO covers three posts and they are as below:-
Judicial post Assistant engineer post Clerk post Eligibility for Judicial posts are :- Graduation in law i.e.LLB from any recognized university of India are eligible for this post. Age limit :- 21 to 32 years. For assistant engineer post: Those candidates should have completed B.Tech or B.E in any stream from a recognized technical university of India are eligible. Age Limit:- 21 to 30 years. For clerk post: Completed 12th with minimum 60% marks from a recognized board are eligible. Age Limit :- 21 to 34 years. |
