what is the salary of a district collector?

Salary of district collector is consist of pay bands as given below..............

* Junior Scale

Pay band: Rs 15600-39100 Grade Pay Rs 5400

* Senior Scales

Pay band: Rs 15600-39100 Grade Pay Rs 6600.

* Super Time Scale

Pay band: Rs 37400-67000 Grade Pay Rs 10000

* Above Super Time Scale

Pay band: Rs 37400-67000. Grade Pay of Rs 12000.

There are five scales----

Junior Scale, Senior Time Scale, Junior Administrative Grade,Selection Grade and Super Time Scale.

Junior Scale---
In Junior Scale the pay is Rs.15,600 to 39,100. Grade Pay is Rs 5400.

Senior Time Scale--
In Senior Time Scale the pay is 15,600 to 39,100. A grade pay of Rs. 6600.

Junior Administrative Grade----
In Junior Administrative pay is Rs. 15,600 to 39,100.Grade Pay Rs.7,600

Selection Grade--
In Selection Grade Pay is Rs.37,400 to 67,000.Gradepay is Rs 8,700.

Super Time Scale---
In Super Time Scale Pay is Rs. 37,400 to 67,000.Gradepay is Rs. 8,700

I am very much confused.I have recently passed tenth and my confusion is all about which stream to choose.I was always interested in sst, science didn't fascinate me to a good extent although i was good at it.looking forward for civil services.Will arts stream help me? plz suggest.
