If you want to go for further study after completing your diploma in textile technology, then B.Tech textile technology is best option for you, because after diploma you can apply for B.Tech through lateral entry procedure. Here below are details regarding B.Tech textile Technology:-

Eligibility Required:- Minimum qualification required to apply for B.Tech textile engineering is 10+2 or equivalent qualification from government recognized board.

Duration of B.Tech Textile Technology:- After diploma through lateral entry procedure duration of B.Tech textile technology course is 3 years which are divided into 6 semesters.

After completing your Diploma in Textile Technology there are two options for you. First you can opt for further studies in textile engineering which shall secure a better prospect for you or you can also opt for jobs with your diploma. As per my opinion you should go for further studies in textile engineering. You can pursue B.Tech in Textile Engineering/PG Diploma in Textile Technology.

B.Tech/B.E in Textile Engineering is a four year UG degree course. It is a career orienting course which uses the principle of engineering with specified knowledge of the equipment and processes related to textile.

Eligibility Criteria:-

Candidates should pass 10+2 level or equivalent in science stream with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognized board.

Candidates who has a diploma in textile technology with a minimum score of 60% marks can also apply. You can apply for direct admission in 2nd year of B.Tech degree through Lateral Entry process. You need to score a good rank in LEET examination for admission in a good college.
