Re: What should I do after passing 12th?
Candidates should complete 12th class so as to apply for aeronautical engineering course. Subjects such as Physics, chemistry and mathematics should be opted in 12th class level. Also 50% marks is necessary for admission for this course. Admission process will require the candidates to attend AIEEE. A good score in this exam will give a chance for the candidates to attend counseling process.

Re: What should I do after passing 12th?
If you want to study Aeronautical Engineering, follow the same procedure which is followed for admission in Bachelor of Technology course. It does not matter which stream are you applying for, the procedure remains the same.
You will have to complete 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. After which there are entrance exams for Engineering admission. You will have to apply for one of the Engineering entrance exams. Some of the entrance exams are:- JEE BITSAT UPSEE GUJ-CET The first priority should be JEE. It is the replacement of AIEEE and IIT-JEE. Earlier JEE was named ISEET entrance exam. The government decided to replace AIEEE and IIT-JEE with one single entrance exam. So whether you want admission in Indian Institutes of Technology or 15% All India Seats including National Institutes of Technology. It is necessary to appear for the Joint Entrance Exam. The JEE has two stages. First is JEE Mains which is replacement for AIEEE and works as the same. Second is called JEE Advanced which is replacement for IIT-JEE. You can apply for 15% All India Seats after clearing JEE Mains. However for admission in IIT, you will also have to clear the JEE Advanced. JEE Eligibility 1. 12th standard with PCM subjects. 2. 3-4 years diploma from AICTE recognized college. 3. There is no percentage criteria. 4. Your age should not be more than 25 years. 5. 30 years is the limit for SC/ST. 6. There is 3 consecutive attempts per candidate. 7. You will first clear JEE Mains. 8. Only top 150,000 can go forward and attempt JEE Advanced. |

Re: What should I do after passing 12th?
After 12th you are to appear state Level JEE or AIEE.On the basis of joint marks you will get seats either in Govt Colleges or in PVt colleges toward any engineering line.Keep in mind to do JEE/AIEE you have to obtain more than 55% in 12th final having the Subjects Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics.Again with PCB in 12th you can do BDS/MBBS course having more than 50% you can appear NEET for medical seats.
Thank You, |

Re: What should I do after passing 12th?
Hello,
As you have said that you are interested in studying Aeronautical engg. , so you need to have basic qualification that is : > > must have passed 10+2 with science stream with a percentage of above 65% , having a combination subject : physics , Chemistry , Maths . > > Age should be between 17-24 years . > > For admission in a top Institute of Aeronautical college, you have to appear for entrance exam like : * * AIEEE * * IITJEE * * ISAT * * BITSAT etc ... TOP COLLEGES FOR AERONAUTICAL COURSE ARE : IIT , MUMBAI IIT , KHARAGPUR IIT , MADRAS BANGALORE UNIVERSITY NEHRU COLLEGE OF AERONAUTICS AND APPLIED SCIENCE .CHENNAI HINDUSTAN COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING etc.. GOOD LUCK ! |

Re: What should I do after passing 12th?
you must have physics, chemistry and math as main subject in 12th you have atleast 75% marks in 12th. Give the entrance exam of aieee then choose btech aeronatical enginering from a good college . The rank in entrance exam decide you whether you are eligible for government college. This is most best branch of btech. Best of luck
