Dear candidate,

After completing the B.pharmacy, Better to do M.Pharmacy.

If you have a interest in medical coding , best to do that course.

This is the common problem faced by almost all the B.Pharm graduates.They would be in the dilema which course after their B.Pharm graduaton.
Firstly i want to be very clear in your determination but kindly suggest you not to put your legs on two different boats in studies and job simultaneously.
Its better to continue your further studies instead of doing job untill and unless your financially weak and if you family really requires your financial support.
To go for higher studies you can option for following:

• Masters in pharmacy abroad.
• M.Pharm in India.
• Niper entrance exam.
• GPAT
• MBA in Pharmaceutical business management.
• Manipal university.
• BITS PILANI entrance exam.

But remember that to attend the bits and NIPER exams you need to get qualified in GPAT entrance exam which is an national exam.

Higher study options are available for meritorious pharmacy graduates.

You can either join for M Pharm .

Or else you can opt for MBA course in specialization like clinical management, marketing, human resource, international business, productions.

Being a B Pharm holder the best option for you in MBA is

- MBA in Pharmaceutical Management

- MBA in Hospital Management


Career options after completing B Pharm.

* Teaching - B Pharm - First Class students are eligible to teach as lecturers in the D Pharm programme.

*Pharmacist – Being in the health-related field, the B Pharm graduate can be
Health-system Pharmacist or Hospital Pharmacist or Community Pharmacist.

* Quality Assurance Health Manager – The Pharmacy graduate can play an
important role in the development of clinical care plans, can investigate
adverse medication events and in some cases can suggest preventive measures.

* Medical Transcription - The B Pharm graduate can work with medical
practitioners to maintain the patient treatment history, the drug to which
he/she is allergic etc.

*Analytical Chemist of Quality Control Manager – The pharmacy graduate can play a crucial role in controlling product quality.

* Sales and Marketing – Ambitious achievers with pleasant personality and good communication skills can opt for the job of Medical Sales Representative.
*Clinical Research - B Pharm degree holders can take up career in
clinical research. The human testing phase is called the clinical trial
