I think you have completed your graduation degree if you want to join INDIAN ARMY then this is goo thing and you ca join it by giving CDS exam or SSC or SSB interviews...

You can apply for the Indian Army through University entry scheme and
Combined Defence service examination. CDS examination is conducted
by the UPSC twice in a year. UES is the special entry scheme which is
for engineering candidates only.
The eligibility required for both of the entry scheme is given below.

Eligibility for CDS
For the CDS exam a candidate should be graduate in any discipline.
Candidates appeared in the final year examination are also eligible to
apply for this examination.

The age limit required for this examination is given below

For IMA 19 - 24 years
For OTA 19 - 25 years
For Navy 19 - 22 years
For AFA For AFA 19 - 23 years

Eligibility for UES
For the UES examination candidates of the final year and pre final year
of engineering are eligible to apply for this examination.
So you can apply for the Indian Army through University Entry Scheme
in your final year and pre final year of engineering.

Procedure for joining indian army after B.Tech(Enginnering graduate):-
Month of Commencement of Course each year:- January and July

Age at the time of joining :- 20-27 years

Educational Qualification:- Engineering Degree in notified discipline

Mode of selection:- Direct SSB interview

How to Apply:- Apply to Addl. Directorate General of Recruiting (TGC), Army HQ, West Block III, RK Puram, New Delhi - 110066 in response to advertisement in March/April & Oct./Nov.

you are at right path
after completing your B.E with C.S.E or while you are in last year you can apply for C.D.S EXAM
It is the exam conducted by upsc every time twice in a year
requirement you should be graduated with any stream and should have minimum aggregate 60 percent
you can apply for
IMA age-19-24
OTA age-19-25
NA age-19-23
AFA age-19-23
NA for naval academy
AFA for air force

Well its a good thing that you want to join INDIAN ARMY .You can join Indian
army after completing your Engineering degree.For this you can apply at third year
onward if you are eligible for CDS i.e Combined Defence service examination or for UES
i.e University entry scheme

then you apply for INDIAN army for

this is the officer post so you do not worry about that.

So you also give the CDS exam for entry in this.

The various entry and exams to join Indian Army are :-

1.SSC non tech
2.SSC tech
3.University entry scheme(UES)
4.CDS
5.TGC

If you are a pre final or final year engineering student than you may apply for UES,entry scheme. if you are graduate engineering student then you may apply for CDS/TGC/SSC entry scheme
