Syllabus for IPS Exam The IPS examination is conducted in three stages, the preliminary examination, the main examination and the interview. The preliminary examination is divided into two papers they are general studies and optional subject. The syllabus covered under preliminary examination is precisely given below: General Studies: Under the general studies paper, the syllabus covered is history of India and Indian National Movement, general mental ability, Indian and world geography, current events of national and international importance, Indian polity and economy. hi,
IPS exam stands for Indian police service which is conducted by UPSC. Eligibility;- -------you must be graduate from a recognized university.There is no percentage requirement. ---Age limits is 21-30 years. ----you must be Indian citizen. IPS exam consist;- CSAT MAINS EXAM INTERVIEW IPS EXAM SYLLABUS;- thank you........... |

Age criteria for IPS exam for general candidate is 21 to 30 years old.Age relaxation is there as per govt rule . Age relaxation for IPS exam:- 5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates 3 years relaxation for OBC Candidates 10 years relaxation for PHC candidates 5 years relaxation for Ex-serviceman The maximum no of attempts for Sc/ST candidate is Unlimited. For OBC candidate it is 7 years and for general candidate it will be 5 years. The acronym for IPS is Indian Police Services. IPS is a civil services examination, which is conducted every year by Union Public Service Commission(UPSC). The eligibility criteria required for the IPS examination are prescribed as below:- * Completion of graduation in any track from any accredited college or university. * Final year cotendors are also eligible for this examination. * Age limit:- 21-30 yrs - General. 21-33 yrs - OBC. 21-35 yrs - SC/ST. * Nationality:- Indian. * No. of attempts:- 5 for General, 7 for OBC and no attempts for SC/ST contendors. IPS is high rank Examination in Police Department. Here is Eligibility Criteria: Education: you must have graduation degree any stream from recognized University. Age limit: your age must between 21 - 30 years. Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST 7 3 years for OBC Candidates. Physical: Height: 157.5cms. Chest: 79cms. - 84 cms. Examinations Pattern: There are two exams conduct for IPS Post. Preliminary and Mains Examination. 45 Days Gap Between these two examination. if you want to be IPS Then you have to clear both two Examinations.
