SLET(State Level Eligibility Test for Lectureship) Exam is conducted by the state government for recruiting Lecturers in the state Government Colleges.This exam is similar to UGC-NET Exam.These Eligibility you will have to fulfilled for applying to this exam :-

• Only those candidates who have passed their Post Graduation Degree will be eligible to apply for this exam.
• General and OBC Category candidates will require minimum of 55% marks in Post Graduation.
• Candidates of SC and ST Category will require will only 50% marks in Graduation.
• If you are in Final year of Post Graduation then you will be eligible to apply for this exam.
• Candidates who have completed their P.Hd will require only 50%.
• If you are doing P.Hd then also you will be eligible to apply for this exam and after that you can appear for this exam.

Exam Pattern of SLET Exam

• PAPER I :- Total number of questions in this paper will be 100.It will include questions from Reasoning Ability,English Grammar and General Knowledge.Total marks for this exam will be 100.

• PAPER II :- Total number of questions in this paper will be 75.You will have to answer only 50 questions.Total marks for this paper will be 100.This will contain questions from your selected subjects.

• PAPER III :- This paper will contain descriptive type questions.Total marks this exam will be 200.It will include questions from your selected subjects.

Life Sciences,Chemistry,Physics,Biology,Mathematics,Com puter Science and Application,English,Geography,Economics,Management ,Physical Education,Psychology,Social Work,Home Science,Law,Mass Communication.
