SSC GL stands for Staff selection Combined Graduate Level. The syllabus of SSC CGL exam :- 1] General Intelligence & Reasoning :- This section consist of both verbal and non-verbal type questions on analogies, similarities and differences, spatial orientation, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetic number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, statement conclusion 2] General Awareness :- This section check the knowledge of current events and of such matters of every day observations and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of any educated person. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighboring countries especially pertaining History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Policy & Scientific Research. 3] Quantitative Aptitude :- This section check ability of appropriate use of numbers and number sense of the candidate. The main scope of the test will be computation of whole numbers, decimals, fractions and relationships between numbers, Percentage. 4] English Comprehension :- This section want to check the candidates’ ability to understand correct English, his/her basic comprehension and writing ability, etc. I hope this information will help you a lot. SSC CGL Exam pattern includes Three Steps of Examination i.e
SSC CGL Tier 1 & Tier 2 exam & Interview Tier I : written exam is held which is objective type Tier II : written exam is held which is also based on objective type Tier III : personality test Tier I Syllabus : General Intelligence & Reasoning : 50 questions General Awareness : 50 questions Quantitative Aptitude : 50 questions English Comprehension : 50 questions Duration of Examination : 2 hrs & 40 min extended for PH candidates Max of Marks : 200 Negative marking for each wrong answer : 0.25 |
