To work as a lecturer you need to clear NET examination.

NET stands for National Eligibility Test.

UGC conduct the examination twice in a year.

This examination is conducted for the Junior Research Fellowship and Lecturer ship.

You can easily teach in private and govt colleges after qualify the exam called NET.

Minimum Eligibility For applying in NET examination

• 1,Post Graduation in the subject from recognized university
  
  2,55% marks in post graduation.

Age limit

For Junior Research Fellowship - age of the candidate should not be more then 28 years.

For Lecturer ship - There is no age limit to apply for Lecturer ship.

The exam consist three papers

Syllabus

Paper I

General knowledge
Current affairs
Aptitude and reasoning

(It is 100 marks and a objective type paper).

Paper II

Core subjects

(it carries 100 marks)

Paper III

Selected core subjects

(It carries 200 marks)

(Total marks the paper carries is 400 marks)

Colleges time to time publish vacancies for lecturer in Daily newspaper.
After qualify the NET exam you become eligible to apply in these colleges
keep reading daily newspapers .Approach the college when vacancy arise.
College/institution will take your interview of candidate.
If college/institution will find you the right candidate they can appoint you as college's lecturer.

The Salary for Lecturer Post is differ From Institution / Institution . As per my knowledge , the Salary for state government lecturer will be Approximately ,15,000 to 20,000 K per Month .

To Become an Lecturer you should Crack the NET ( National Eligibility Test ) Examination which is conducted by University Grants Commission...

The Candidate who Aspiring to Become an Lecturer than the Applicant should be Qualified in NET ( National Eligibility Test ) Examination with good percentage of marks.
