|  Re: What type of subjects should I take after 12th for IAS? I am from Arts Hai, Union Public Service Commission conducting this exam every year once. Indian Administrative Service does'nt have any requirements in 12th standard and in graduation. Eligibility criteria details:- Candidate should be complete graduation in any stream from a recognised university. This exam does'nt have any percentage restrictions. Candidate must be an INDIAN origin. Age details:- For General candidates--> 21 years to 30 years, For OBC candidates--> 21 years to 33 years, For SC/ST candidates--> 21 to 35 years. Stages in selection:- ***Civil Services Preliminary examination, ***Civil Services Mains examination, ***Personal interview. Number of attempts:- 4 times chance for General candidates, 7 times chance for OBC candidates, No limits for SC/ST candidates.
