The main advantage of NEET exam is that earlier there were 25 such medical entrance exam but now with NEET appearing into the scene you can devote all your time and energy in this exam without worrying about multiple syllabus and exam pattern. With the NEET All India Ranking you can apply in any one of the NEET affiliated colleges in India. By using the State rank you can seek admission in the state from where you come from. Out of the total seats available in a medical college 85% of those seats are kept reserved under state quota and 15% for candidates from other states. To sit for the NEET exam you need o pass 10+2 firstly of a recognized board and then secure 50% of marks in physics, chemistry and mathematics taken together. They will calculate the aggregate marks. There is some relaxation for the reserved category candidates. SC/ST candidates needs to get 45% of marks in physics, chemistry and mathematics taken together. If you are in the final year then also you are eligible to give this exam. Age Criteria:- The lower age limit for giving this exam is 17 years. For SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates there is 5 years age relaxation. Please Note:- NEET exam can be given only for three times and you need to ensure minimum 50 percentile in the exam to qualify.
