if i will do M.tech from IIIT jabalpur then what salary package i will get?

IIT is one of the most prestigious institutes in India. Completing M.Tech from IIT will definitely increase your job prospects. The salary prospects will vary from company to company. The salary in government sector will be less compared to that in private sector. But you will get more salary compared to candidates who complete M.Tech from other institutes. You can expect an average of Rs 75000 per month.

Salary packages depend on your basic knowledge, and the university from where you are doing your M Tech.

IIT is a good university in fact its amongst the best. So once you are out with your master's degree you can consider yourself well over the B Tech's.

So you can get a starting salary from 50000 to over a lac. This depends on your personality, smartness, your knowledge, how much help and good you can do to a company and the growth you can provide them. Also your attitude would matter.

These skills if positive would help you get a better salary, that what others would get.

i have been placed in a company which offers 8.4lac.....i have a gate score of 660...should i go for job or perceive Mtech....suggestions please...

To be very honest and frank ,I would like to tell you that salaries are not fixed ,it depends upon lot of things like :

>>Your level of knowledge.

>>The institute from which you have pursued your degree.

>>Your communication skills and personality.

>>Last but not the least the profile of company in which you are going to work .

Its good that you have pursued your master's degree in technology from the most reputed institute of Indian in case of technology that is India institute of technology .

For example ,if you want to join any engineering college in teaching profession ,you will get designation as assistant professor and your salary will range from Rs 50000 to Rs 70000 and it will increase as your experience in teaching increases and it also depends upon the college in which you are going to become professor.

Another example ,if you interested in working in MNCs then your salary will be around Rs 40000 to Rs 60000.

In case of PSUs it is about Rs 55000 to Rs 60000.

I have already told that it is not predefined and I have discussed all the fact and figures for a fresher and salaries are not predefined.
