My grandson is US citizen by birth presently studying in 10th std. in California,USA. We intend to get admission in IIT Mumbai or any other IIT Branch in India. What is the criteria? what is the syllabus for JEE? Can he give exam. from USA or he has to come personally in India? What is the fee struccture for him. I & my son are Indian. However, now my son also got US citizenship. Can you guide ? Thanks.

there are three schemes for nri admissions
1. DASA
2. NRI WITH 10 2 OR EQUIVALENT FROM OUTSIDE INDIA
3. NRI SPONSORED.
DO WE REQUIRE TO SIT FOR SAT EXAMINATION IN ALL THREE CASES?

I am an indian citizen and will be going to israel for my 11th and 12th. There the 12th final exams get over only by June 2015 and the school follows an American medium of instruction. So will I be able to give the JEE exams here & will i qualify for the NRI quota ?

We are Indians and my son studied 8th to 10th in oman. He wants to study 2 in India. In which category he will be considered in B.Tech admission, NRI or Normal?
