Thadomal Sahani Engineering College located in Mumbai offers both B.E and M.E courses. B.E admission will be based on Maharashtra Health-Technical Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET) score while M.E admission will be based on performance in written test and personal interview. Apart from that, there is direct second year admission for diploma holders in relevant engineering branch. Candidates can also seek admission through NRI and SINDHI quota.

B.E Admission

Those who seek first year admission to B.E courses should first of all apply for Maharashtra Health-Technical Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET). Once they get qualified in this entrance test, they can forward their application to the college. For that, they should obtain the prospectus and application form from the concerned office located at the campus after paying the specified application fee. After receiving the applications, the college will prepare a merit list based on MHT CET score.

Counselling will be held for admission into B.E course. Candidates should attend the counselling process in person and submit the relevant documents to confirm their seats. They should also pay an amount of Rs. 1, 03,006/- as admission fee through demand draft taken in the name of ‘Thadomal Shahani Engineering College, Mumbai’. Admission to NRI seats will be based on the marks obtained in the final year examination of senior secondary or equivalent course.

Diploma holders can seek direct second year admission to any of the B.E course corresponding to their branch. For that, they should first of all purchase ‘Vacancy Round Registration form’ from the office. After filling it properly, they should submit it at the office of concerned authority within stipulated date. This form is not necessary for those who seek admission to the seats under SINDHI quota. Direct second year admission will be based on the marks obtained in the relevant qualifying examination.

M.E Admission

Candidates can seek admission to M.E courses by forwarding their application forms to the college. They can procure the application forms from the concerned office in the college by paying the application fee. A merit list will be prepared on the basis of the score obtained in this written test. Then a personal interview will be done for final short listing. Performance during written test and interview will be considered for giving admission to M.E course.

GATE qualified candidates will get preference for admission to M.E course. AMIE/ AMIETE candidates can apply for M.E course only if they possess valid GATE score in the branch for which they are going to apply.
