Hello sir, I am in final year of Civil Engineering and want to apply for GATE exam. Please tell me when application form issue? How to prepare for it? Reference books for preparation?

GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering.

1. 2017 GATE examination is over. You can apply for 2018 GATE examination. The application form for GATE 2018 will be available in month of September, 2017. Final year engineering candidates are eligible to apply for GATE examination.

2. You should read your technical subjects from second year of engineering and solve objective and technical questions on those subjects. You must have good basic concepts of technical subjects. Solve previous year papers to assess your performance.

2. Environmental Engineering by B.C Punamia.

3. RCC Design by A.K Jain.

4. Fluid Mechanics by R.K Bansal.

5. Strength by L Singer.
