when we should apply for gate exam? please give me the details for the same

Dear friend,

This year 2013 you cant sit for GATE, you can apply for GATE on or before 2014. GATE EXAM is organized by IITS of our country. you may get details of GATE by checking in the internet in between sep and october every year.

When To Apply For GATE Exam

The candidates are eligible to appear for the GATE Exam only if :-

>> Candidate must be either a final year student or must have already graduated from B.E/B.Tech from a recognized institute..

>> Candidates having Dual degree courses and M.Sc. are also eligible..

The last date for applying for GATE-2013 was 28th December,2012..

Note:- There is no limit on the number of attempts and age limit..

you can apply for the gate examination on your current 4th year.
and after completion of your last year.

because you get only 2 attempts in GATE.
just like IIT.

now next gate will beheld on july 2014.
and the exam form will start getting selled from july 2013 onwards.

also you must have taken any one of the technical degree for gate such as
B.E/B.Tech.

GATE stands for the graduate aptitude test in engineering. You can apply for the GATE, as soon as the forms are out. The forms are generally comes in the month of september, which can be filled both online and offline and there is also an option for the payment of the form online also. The exam is conducted by the IITs and the date of the exam is generally in the month of february. The GATE 2013 date is 10th february 2013, Sunday

Friend I am sorry to say that you can not appear in G.A.T.E 2013 because last date of application form is 8th October 2012.

If you want you can apply in 2014.

The exam in 2013 was on conducted on 20th Jan 2013.

can i apply for gate after 3-4 years on completion of b.e/b.tech

can i apply after complite 3rd year b.tech

GATE(graduate aptitude test in engineering) is the entrance exam for MTech.BTech degree holder or the student who are in the final year of their BTech are eligible to write GATE.GATE notification usually in august.You can apply for gate during sept-oct.You have apply in online with some certificate and details as mentioned in the notification.And you have submit the hard copy of your application to the nearest GATE zonal office.You have to give to examination centre options in the application form,it is better to give nearest exam centre.Now application for GATE 2013 already started.
GATE exam is usually in Feb 2nd sunday.Once you write the exam and you qualified in that exam this gate score is valid for 2 years.

You can apply for GATE exam in engineering final year also.In these days many companies choosing their employers based on their GATE score,so better you should do hard and get good score in it.For this you should solve the previous model questions.

after completion of your b.tech i.e., after completion of graduation in engineering field if you wish to do post graduation in engineering field you should qualify in this entrance test known as GATE it is a graduate aptitude test in engineering. this exam has 65 question to score 100 marks and exam consist of 3 hours,all this questions are multiple choice question and if there is any wrong answer for the question given there will be negative marking i.e., if you have answered question if it is correct your marks will increase if not marks will be reduced from the total you have scored. if you are interested in writing the exam the last date for online application is 30th October 2013

You can apply for GATE entrance exam if you have already completed your graduation or if you were studying your final year.
The GATE notification will be released every year in the month of august and you need to apply in online in the months of sep-oct.After qualifying you can join in M.Tech course and the GATE score will be valid for 2 years.So,try to work hard and get good valid score in your GATE entrance exam.

The full form of GATE is Graduate Aptitude test in Engineering .This entrance exam or you can say that test is conducted by Indian Institute of Technology.

The main motive of conducting this exam is to select the candidates for the master's degree in technology from the top most reputed institutes in India that is IIT.

Your query is that when can you apply for the exam,here I am discussing the eligibility after that you will get your answer:

>>Candidates holding bachelor's degree in engineering /technology from a recognized university can apply for the exam.

>>Or if you have done your master's degree in physics,mathematics etc then also you can apply for the exam.

Note: Final year candidates of both the program can appear for the exam.

So ,you can apply for the exam when you are in final year of bachelor's degree in engineering /technology.

There is no upper age limit to appear for this exam.Also there is no bar on number of attempts .

It is an objective exam with negative marking applicable for wrong answers with following exam pattern:

From the year 2014,there will be online test for the GATE exam.

>>Keep your basics strong and try to build clear concept regarding your each subject.

>>Give more focus on practice of different numerical questions.

GATE stands for graduate test in engineering is exam conducted by any of IIT'S for admissions into MTech.GATE exam is conducted by every year in feb month.You can apply for GATE once the notification is given.Informations regarding notification you can see in new papers or in gate website.
GATE2014 notification already given and applications are already started.If you want to write GATE2014 apply as earlier as possible.

and also there is no minimum percentage criteria ,



Eligibility for GATE Exam:

**either Bachelor degree holders in Engineering/Technology/Architecture
**either Master degree holders in any branch of Science/Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Applications
**either Candidates in the second or higher year of the Four-year Integrated Master degree programme (Post-B.Sc.) in Engineering/Technology



gate marks are applicable for all colleges and it is valid for 2 years ..
