when will the CPT exam start? what is the pass mark? how will prepare for cpt exam?

CPT stands for Common Proficiency Test.

This examination is conducted by Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in June and December every year. Any candidate who has done 10th can register for this examination but they can appear for examination only after 12th.

CPT is an objective test which consists of objective question from subjects like Fundamentals of Accountancy, Economics, Mercantile law and Aptitude. There is 50 questions from each subject.

If a candidate scores 30% marks in each section and overall 50%aggregate, he will clear this test.

How to prepare:

If you are from commerce stream then you just need to read these subjects in 10+2 with good concepts and solve objective questions. You can solve RS Aggarwal for Aptitude Section. Practice is only key to clear this exam.
