i have missed to apply for may attempt,so when will the next mat entrance exam will held and how to apply...

Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA)
for admission in MBA courses of various B-schools of the country.

The MAT is conducted 4 times a year in FEBRUARY, MAY, SEPTEMBER and DECEMBER months.

As you missed to apply for May examination you can apply for next MAT i.e.
MAT September 2012.

The notification for the exam shall be available by the month of August.
Keep visiting the AIMA website for notices regarding MAT.

When will we get notification of the mat exam of december and february?

sir i missed frb mat exam so what should i do for next mat exam when it will be available.. plz reply asap

MAT Exam Details:-

The full form of MAT is Management Aptitude Test. This exam is conducted by the All India Management Association. You can give this exam four times a year: February, May, September and December.

MAT Exam can be given for the following post-graduate courses:-MBA,
MBA+Post Graduate Diploma in Bachelor Administration and Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management.

The next exam is due in February notifications of which was published long back and last date for submission of form was 17th February. If you have missed this one then wait till May for the next exam.

To give MAT Exam you need to be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized institution. Your subject at UG level is of little importance so you can choose any subject of your choice. Since the minimum marks to acquire have not been mentioned therefore you just need to secure the pass marks.

If you are in the final year about to sit for the exam or awaiting the result of the final exam then also you can give this exam. Age is not a criteria again and you can give this exam as many times you want.

Examination Pattern:-

As the exam pattern changes from one year to the other therefore there's no specific pattern to follow as such. But questions will be mainly objective types. A total of 200 questions will be asked and you will get 2.5 hours to complete the whole paper. You can give the exam in both online and offline mode. For the exam you need to give stress on the following areas:-

• Language Comprehension
• Mathematical Skills
• Data Analysis and Sufficiency
• Intelligence and Critical Reasoning
• Indian and Global Environment

Cost of the application form is Rs. 1200. From selected branches of Bank of Baroda, Axis Bank, listed Study Centers of AIMA and from AIMA, Delhi the forms will be available.

You can also send a demand draft of Rs. 1200/- made in favor of ‘All India Management Association’ payable at Delhi to get the application kit.

Paper Based Test: 3 February 2013
Computer Based Test: 9 February 2013
