Please, can you tell me the dates of Civil Service examinations which are held yearly? Generally, in which month it is conducted? And, latest by when one should apply for it?

The registration for preliminary exam is mainly done in the month of February or March every year.

The registration for mains exam is done in the month of August every year.

Now the registration for civil services exam 2020 will be done in the month of February in 2020.

Civil Service examination is conducted by UPSC. It is conducted in three stages :-

Preliminary - 31st May 2020.

Mains - September 2020.

Interview - January 2021 onwards.

Application form will be available in February 2020.

* Date of release of official notification :- 12.02.2020.

* Last date to register for the same examination :- 03.03.2020.

* Date of Preliminary test :- 31.05.2020.

* Date of Mains :- 18.09.2020 (05 days).

Union Public Service Commission has released the academic calendar of 2020 exams. The Civil Services preliminary stage will be conducted on 31st May 2020.

The online application will begin from 12th February 2020 and end on 3rd March 2020.You can apply at official website of UPSC when application begins.
