Hi Sir, I got failed in Mathematics of a mid-term exam. I am a CBSE student of 9th standard. I want to know that due to this, I will not get promoted to 10th standard? I have heard about it so I am little worried.

1. Before being promoted to standard 10th, there is final examination of ninth standard. Even if you have failed in mid term exam, you can score well in final examination for promotion to standard 10th.

2. Prepare all subjects well with proper concept and practice. Practice in science, mathematics is necessary for board and pre board exams.

Yes, you will be promoted to 10th Central Board of Secondary Education after getting failed in 9th mid term examination but for that you will have to pass in mathematics in final yearly examination of ninth standard.

Candidates who have passed all subjects in ninth board exam will be promoted to tenth board examination.

Let me tell you that you will pass in final examinations then you will be promoted to class 10th.
There is also a process of re-examination. You can clear that paper after appearing in this exam.

You need to fulfill one condition to get promoted to 10th standard.

Condition: You must pass all subjects of final year examination of ninth standard.

Your score in ninth final mathematics should be exceptionally well.

** In order to get admission in 10th class, the candidate should have passed 9th class from a recognized board.

** As per my knowledge, you are not eligible to get admission in 10th class after failed in Mathematics of 9th mid-term exam.

** My suggestion to you is that you should pass the Mathematics of 9th mid-term exam then after completing 9 class you are eligible to get admission in 10th class.

You will be promoted to 10th Central Board of Secondary Education if failed in mid term exam of ninth standard. But for that, you will have to pass in final ninth standard examination.
