is any cpt exam in septemeber2012?

Hello,
CPT(Common Proficiency Test) is conducted twice a year in the months of JUNE & DECEMBER.

The ICAI has already announced the dates for the December 2012 CPT exams.

The dates for December 2012 CPT exams-:

Date of written exam= 16/12/2012.

Start date for applying= 08/10/2012.

Last date for applying= 26/10/2012.


The applications forms can be obtained from the regional & branch offices of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (OR)from the Additional Secretary (Examinations),The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India,ICAI Bhawan, Indraprastha Marg, New Delhi-110 002 from the 8th of October 2012,agianst a cash of Rs.1000 which includes Rs.500 for the application form and the Information brochure,whereas Rs.500 for the examination fee.


Online application will also be available for the CPT December 2012 examination.
Candidates can apply online by visiting the linkhttp://icaiexam.icai.org

The payment can be made through VISA/MASTER,Credit/Debit card.The fees will be only for the examination i.e,Rs.500 rather than Rs.1000 as the application and Information Brochure fee of Rs.500 will not be charged.



Please note that candidates who have got themselves registered with the
ICAI(The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India) and either passed or appeared the 12th examination on or before 5th of October 2012 will be eligible for the CPT December 2012 examination.


CPT December 2012 will consists of two sessions of totally four sections A,B,C and D.which will be objective questions.


SESSION-I

Timings-10:30 AM to 12:30 PM.

Section-A-> Fundamentals of Accounting.

Section-B-> Mercantile Laws.



SESSION-II

Timings-2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Section-C-> General Economics.

Section-D-> Quantitative Aptitude.

i.e.

June

&

December

may be there is no CPT Exam in September month

already june attempt is over

The Next attempt for CA-CPT is in December

** Mercantile Law

CPT have total 200 marks

and

Qualifying marks for CPT is 100 Marks

Note : - Negative marks for every wrong answer
