Sir, I wanted to know that is BDS students are applicable for Indian Forest Service IFS exams or not? If not then is there any chance of coming eligible by pursuing any course?

Yes, BDS students can appear in Indian Forest Service IFS exam only if they have any one subject out of given subjects in their graduation.

Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology.

If you have any one subject from above mentioned subjects than you are totally eligible to appear in Indian Forest Science examination otherwise you are not eligible for this examination.

If you are not eligible than you have to pursue Bachelor degree with any one subject.

Candidates pursuing bachelor degree in chemistry, zoology, mathematics, botany etc as main paper are eligible to appear for the Indian Forest Service examination.

Examination is conducted in three stages for the final recruitment. So, you are eligible to pursue the course after completion of BDS course. Age limit is 21-32 years and relaxation in upper age limit for reserved category.
