No Block Development Officer does not have powers like a Gazetted officer. But though he has duties to perform. He is the in charge of the block which has given to him. Its main duty is to develop that block through a good planning.BOD should be capable of Making Decision & ready to be accountable for that Block. He supervise all the development related things.
