Hi Sir, I am interested in applying for the UPSC Indian Forest Service Preliminary Examination of 2020. I would like to know about the eligibility criteria for applying in this examination. Can you please let me know about the eligibility criteria asap?

~~ Educational qualification:

Applicant should have passed Bachelor’s degree with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering form recognized University.

~~ Age Limit:

Applicant minimum age is 21 years and maximum age is 32 years.

>> You must have completed Bachelor's Degree with at least one of the subject namely Physics, Zoology, Statistics, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Geology, Chemistry, Botany, Mathematics..etc.,

>> Must have done Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture or Forestry or in Engineering from a recognized university to be eligible.

>> The minimum age required is 21 years and maximum age should not exceed 32 years in order to be eligible for this recruitment.

UPSC Indian Forest Service Preliminary Examination 2020 :

* Eligibility criteria

Candidates must be citizen of India.

Candidates must have done graduation with one subject or more as Forestry/Chemistry/Engineering/Mathematics/Physics/Zoology/Agriculture/Statistics/ Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Sciences and Botany from a recognized University.

Minimum age limit should be 21 years and maximum age limit should be 32 years. There is age relaxation for reserved categories.

The eligibility criteria to apply for UPSC Indian Forest Services Preliminary examination:

>>Candidate must have done bachelor's degree with one of the essential subjects or stream in Animal Husbandry and Veterinary science, Botany, Chemistry, Biology, Zoology, Geology, Mathematics, Chemistry, Statistics etc.

>>The age limit is 21-32 years for candidates of general category.

Upper age relaxation applicable for candidates of reserved category. It is three years for OBC and five years for SC/ST candidates.

The last date to apply online is 3rd March 2020.

Eligibility to apply for UPSC Indian Forest Service Preliminary Examination 2020 are as follows:-
Candidate must be a holder of Bachelor’s degree with at least one of the subjects Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Zoology.
Or,
Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering from recognized university.
Candidate age should be at least 21 years and not more than 32 years.
