To become lecturer in colleges/university you have to appear and qualify in NET/SET examination.
The eligibility to appear for examination is :- Candidate must have passed minimum master's degree from a recognised university. Candidate must have 55% in master degree. So, you can appear for examination if you have above 55% in the M.A. NET examination is conducted by UGC twice every year. For more information about examination visit at www.ugc.ac.in. |

Candidates who are interested to become a lecturer should have completed their master's degree in the particular subject with minimum 55% marks from a recognized university. You must be an Indian citizen and there is no upper age limit for lectureship. Therefore, with this eligibility you have to appear for NET (National Eligibility Test) conducted by UGC twice a year. So, if you qualify the examination then you will be eligible to become a lecturer after MA and B.Ed degree.
