My name is G. Sathishkumar. I am studying B.Tech-IT final year in CMS College of Engineering. Sir, I have interest in joining the Indian Service officer post. So please send the details.

Yes, you can join the Indian services as an officer in the defense,police,administrative etc. but there is separate eligibility for the defense and the other services.

To join the Defense services you have to qualify in the CDS examination where as for the other posts you have to qualify in the civil services examination. Both the examination is conducted by the UPSC.

The eligibility for both the examination is candidates must have passed the graduation from the recognised university but there is limitation on the age criteria for both of them.
