I am studying in final year bsc nursing. I want to join in military nurse. Can you help me sir please. What is the proceedure for joining in indian army?

Yes,you are eligible for the Military Nursing Service jobs.
You should apply for CDS exam.

CDS stands for Combined Defense Service.

This exam is conducted twice in a year at national level. To apply for the CDS exam you need to satisfy the eligibility criteria.

Eligibility :

• Age is between 19 to 25 years.
• your graduation must be from a recognized university.
• Final year students of graduation can also apply for the exam.
• Candidate must be an Indian Citizen.

Exam procedure:

• Written test.
• SSB Interview.
• Medical test.

One who wishes to join Military as Nurse being a male candidate has to appear for Military Nursing Service Exam conducted by SSC (Short Service Commission).

Eligibility criteria to apply for the exam are as under :-

-The candidate must hold Indian citizenship.

-The candidate should have passed B.Sc / M.Sc in nursing / post certificate B.Sc (nursing ) with atleast 60% marks from a recognized university.

-The candidate age limit to apply for the exam should be in between 19 years to 35 years.

-A single/unmarried/widow/divorcee candidate can apply for the exam .

-The candidate should be medically fit.

Selection procedure involves of written test, interview and physical test.

You can join Indian Military through Combined Defence Service exam .

The exam will conducts by UPSC of india two times in every year.

* You should have completed Graduation from a Recognized university.
* Your age should be in between 19-24 years , to join in Army through CDS exam .
* You should be an unmarried candidate.

Exam Syllabus is ,

1) General knowledge = 100 marks
2) General english = 100 marks
3) Elementary Maths = 100 marks

Indian Army recruits lab attendant on the basis of class 12th. You must have at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subject to become eligible for this entry. The notification for this entry comes very rarely. Hence, you have to keep yourself updated.

Selection will be based on the performance in the written exam and physical fitness test. Age should be below 21 years and above 17 years for this entry.

I am serving in armed forces Medical services as a nursing tech jco and I have done General nursing and midwifery of armed forces medical services board but I am not taking status of military nursing service as a male nurse

Step 1. Earn Your Nursing Degree.

Step 2 Take and pass the National Licensure Examination (NCLEX).

Step 3 Gain civilian experience or decide to enlist.

Step 4 Talk to a recruiter.

Step 5 Complete the application packet.

Step 6 Complete an Officer Basic Leadership Course (BOLC).

I completed BSC nursing in Bangalore I have more than 60 percentage of mark .I can join the military army. I heard that only girls can apply for the heir position is it correct.

In my opponent male nurses is better than female nurses in some condition like war, why they are not giving chance to join millitary male nurse as they provided specially for female nurses
