Do I am able to try for ifs exam bother Forest and Foreign more than once in the same year? Sir i able to attend ifs how many times per year

IFS is conducted twice a year once in February and the other one in November at the national level for those who wish to be a part of Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Indian Air Force, and Officer Training Academy.

You have to go through 2 stages of written exam.

Your final selection will be done through merit list.

The first thing I would like to let you know that for there is a common preliminary examination for both Indian Forest Service and Indian Foreign Service which is known as Civil Services Preliminary Examination held by UPSC once every year.

IFS stands for Indian Forest Services exam.

This exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission once in a year.

Eligibility criteria:-
The candidate should have passed graduation in animal husbandry and veterinary science/botany/chemistry/mathematics/physics zoology or graduation in agriculture/ forestry.

Age limit is between 21 to 30 years.

Once in a year, In recent years, the intake into the Indian Foreign Service has averaged between 30-35 persons annually. The present cadre strength of the service stands at approximately 850 officers manning around 193 Indian missions and posts abroad and the various posts in the Ministry at home.

The maximum number of attempts is as follows: General Category Candidates: 7 attempts. Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST) candidates: No restriction. Other Backward Class candidates: 9 attempts.

The Indian Forest Service and Indian Foreign Service examination is once a year. The educational qualification requires is a candidate must have passed a bachelor's degree in one subject as Chemistry/Botany/Geology/Mathematics/Statistics/Physics/Zoology/Agriculture/Forestry/Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science/bachelor's degree in Engineering from a recognized university. The candidate minimum age should be 21 years and the maximum age should not be more than 32 years for Indian Forest Service and for Indian Foreign Service it is 30 years.
