Hello sir, I belongs to Karnataka and want to join Police Sub-Inspector. What is the minimum age limit for joining Police Sub-Inspector in Karnataka as a SC candidate?

The minimum age required for the candidate to join as a Police Sub-Inspector in Karnataka is 18 years. The minimum age limit is same for all Category candidates.

The maximum age limit is 25 years to participate in Karnataka Police Sub-Inspector recruitment process.

Upper age relaxation of 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates is applicable as per government rules.

For Karnataka sub inspector post you should have age between 21 to 26 years. There is no age relaxation as it is a job related to physical fitness. Hence, you won't get any age relaxation based on category.

Height should be minimum 167.5 cm and chest should be 81-86 cm. Selection will be based on the performance in written exam and physical fitness test.

Educational Qualification for SI post:

Graduation degree from a recognized university.

Age:

Minimum age = 20 years
Minimum age = 28 years

Age relaxation:-

SC/ST- 5 years

OBC- 3 years

Ex-Servicemen ( Unreserved)- 5 years

Ex-Servicemen (OBC)- 8 years

Ex-Servicemen (SC/ST)- 10 years

The minimum age limit to join as Sub Inspector in Karnataka State Police is 18 years and the maximum age limit 33 years for SC candidate.

• The candidate should have studied graduation degree or equivalent from a recognized university to become SI in Karnataka Police.
• The height required is 167.5 cms and chest should be 81-86.
• The aspirant has to appear for a written test, Physical fitness test and interview for the selection.

To become Sub Inspector you must be at least graduate from a recognized university & age must be between 19 years to 25 years.

There are age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC category candidates. A SC/ST candidate gets 5 years of age relaxation which means you can apply till the age of 30 years. OBC gets 3 years of age relaxation.

Your height must be 168 CM or more than that & chest 86 CM (When fully expanded)

The following eligibility criteria required for Police Sub-Inspector in Karnataka as a SC candidate:-

->You have to pass Bachelor's Degree From Any Recognized University Or Equivalent

Recruitment for the post of Sub inspector in Karnataka Police is made through the Civil Services Exam conducted by the Karnataka Public Service Commission .

Eligibility criteria required to apply for PSI examination in Karnataka are as under:-

-The candidate should possess Graduation degree with at least 60%(50% for SC/ST) marks from a recognized university .

-The minimum age limit to apply for the exam is 20 years and maximum is 25 years for general category. There is relaxation in upper age limit by 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

-Selection criteria :-

Written test.

Physical test.

Medical test.
