I want to know that if one sitting degree approved by a ugc recognized university, is valid for applying government jobs in India. What sort of jobs are offered for such students?

Yes, the candidates who have completed their graduation in any discipline are eligible for government jobs.

However, you are eligible to take the entrance exam of the particular job in the final year of your graduation.

Here are some of the job prospects in the government sector these candidates :

* IAS.

* IPS.

* IFS.

* Railways.

* Indian Army.

* Indian Navy.

* Postal services.

* IBPS PO, SO posts.

If you complete your bachelor's degree in technical then you are eligible to write GATE exam through that score you can apply for various PSU'S like SAIL, GAIL, BSNL, NTPC, DRDO, ISRO, HCL, HAL, BARC etc.

I have completed one sitting degree. Shall I apply for Govt. teacher post in aided school? My present qualification is B.SC.,B.Ed.,B.A.. Please answer me.
