Is it possible for me to get a government job with previous software company experience?


Hello sir/madam,

I am a 33year old woman. Did MCA(acquired 75 %) from Osmania university in 2005. I got a software job through campus placements while studying MCA. Worked in a software services firm for 3 years and resigned the job for personal family reasons post marriage. I am very much interested in a government job. What are my prospects? Do I have any chances?

To get a government job after working in a software company is that the best way is to apply for the UPSC Exam (Union Public Service Commission). This is a national level entrance exam and is conducted for candidates to join in various government posts such as civil services, defence services, engineering services, railways.

There are eligibility criteria's which are needed to be satisfied in order to apply for the exams and as per them your experience in software company dose not help. Even if you are a ex-service men is army means there are relaxation but having experience in software field does not make any effect.
