Income Tax Officer Exam is conducted by the SSC .

SSC stands for Staff Selection Commission.

Exam pattern:-
The examination will be conducted in two parts :-
Part 1 written exam - 300 marks
Part 2 Skill test.

You can become Income Tax officer after qualifying in Civil Service or SSC Combined Graduate Level examination.

The required educational qualification is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university. The age limit varies with examination. So, after the bachelor degree you can qualify in the examination.

There are mainly two exams to become an Income Tax Officer in India.

1. UPSC exam.
- Prelims.
- Mains.
- Interview.

2. SSC GCL.

The candidate needs to clear one of them to become an Income Tax Officer in India.

You need to appear in UPSC exam to become an Income Tax Officer in India. UPSC is one of the toughest exam in India. You need to start your preparation as soon as possible. You must be 21 years or above to be eligible for this exam.
