Hello, I have got the news of the Cochin Shipyard recruitment of Sheet Metal Workers. I want to get this job. Can you tell me what is the criteria for selection in this recruitment of this particular post? Kindly tell me immediately.

Selection will be done on following basis-

1. Marks obtain in related ITI trade( merit list based ).

2. Document verification.

3. Medical test.

The selection criteria for Sheet Metal Workers in Cochin Shipyard will be done on the basis of the percentage marks obtained in the basic prescribed qualification and the candidate should be domicile of Kerala will be considered. The educational qualification required is a candidate must have passed in ITI in the concerned trade and must have the Certificate/Provisional National Trade Certificate (NTC) in the designated trade that are approved for undergoing Apprenticeship training.

1)Eligibility criteria:- Pass in SSLC, ITI (NTC) and National Apprenticeship Certificate in the
respective trade.
2)Age:-Should not be more than 30 years of age.
3)Experience:-Training in a Shipyard or Minimum of three years post qualification experience.

. Short-listing of candidates for selection will be done based on the percentage of marks obtained in the basic prescribed qualification as applicable to the respective disciplines.
