Respected Sir, I am a Government employee and I want to appear for the Group exam. I want to know what is the age limit for a Government employee to apply for Group 1 and 2 exam? Please answer as soon as possible.

Yes you are eligible to write the group exams.It will varies by states.

Age limit For group 1 & 2 :

Group 2:

Minimum 18 years to 30 Years
Minimum 18 years to No limit for these castes (Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Caste (Arunthathiyars), Scheduled Tribes, Most Backward Classes / Denotified Communities, Backward Classes, Backward Classes (Muslims) and Destitute Widows of all castes.

Group :1

Age limit : Minimum 21 to Max 35 years.

What is the age relaxation available to a SC candidate in Central Government employment applying for Group A post in Central Government? Can he be granted double relaxation-as SC for 5 years and as Government servant for another 5 years.(i.e. 100 years)
